Bomb experts dismantled on Tuesday a home-made bomb planted near a power transformer in front of the Faculty of Education, Fayyoum University.
The bomb was found during Higher Education Minister El Sayed Abdel Khalek's visit to the university to take part in the Science Day celebration.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
