The curriculum of Islamic studies in schools and religious institutions should be reviewed to tackle extremist, radical or liberal ideology.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Dr Ashraf Wajdi Dusuki said the review should start from school, pondok school and up to institutions of higher learning, Bernama news agency reported.
