Transport Minister Hany Dahy on Friday formed a specialized committee to inspect the scene of a train-school bus collision on Cairo-Ismailia desert highway.
The committee, which groups leaders of the Egyptian National Railways, is tasked with determining the reason behind the accident.
The committee is expected to complete its investigation within 12 hours.
On Friday morning, a train collided with a Shorouk City school bus, leaving seven people dead and 25 more injured.
