The Executive School Transport Committee in Abu Dhabi announced yesterday the introduction of new uniforms for school bus drivers and escorts as part of its implementation of new school transport legislation that aims to raise school transport standards to the highest levels. This comes as part of the close cooperation among committee members and in accordance with the Surface Transport Master Plan, STMP, in Abu Dhabi.
The new uniform helps identify the staff, relays discipline and trust between the students and their parents on one hand, and the school transport service providers on the other. It is designed with practicality in mind, to combine both professional image and functional comfort.
