Iranian researchers at Shahid Beheshti University designed and developed log master software used in the oil industry. Saeed Mirzaei, a professor at the university, told Shana that the software is used for interpreting petrophysical data. He said the software is a must in the oil industry as the country is facing sanctions on its energy sector. He noted that softwares used in the upstream oil industry impose heavy costs on the country every year. Mirzaei stated that log master would replace geolog in Iran\'s oil industry.
