The State of Kuwait underscored here on Thursday the significance of overhauling the basic education in the Arab world by means of wiping out relevant technical, financial and legislative hurdles and impediments.
More concerted efforts need to be exerted and inter-Arab cooperation channels be promoted in order to provide good and fruitful basic education to generations to come through paying more care to pupils and teachers alike, a Kuwaiti educational official addressed a gathering of Arab education ministers held here.
Such meetings are a significant opportunity for the Arab education ministers to assess and review the current educational system in all Arab countries, Assistant Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Education Ministry for Financial Affairs Fahad Al-Ghais said during the conference.
He hoped that the conferees could come up with fruitful recommendations and resolutions that would contribute to reforming and developing educational policies in the Arab world.
