Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat on Sunday ordered the release of 130 students who were held in custody over several violence charges.
The decision came after a review of the cases of the prisoners held in custody pending further investigations and on the occasion of Prophet Mohammad's birthday anniversary (El-Mould).
