M.K. Nikshith, a student of Grade VI of Indian School Al Ghubra entered the Guinness World Records for being a part of the team that created the World’s Longest Crocheted Scarf.
This event was organised by Mother India’s Crochet Queens (MICQ) Team along with Indian Skills Development Council (ISDC) on May 21 at MNM Jain Engineering College, Chennai in India.
The MICQ events aim to spread the message of peace, harmony and cooperation through human creative skills.
The members of the team consists of Indian women and children living in India and abroad.
M.K. Nikshith and his mother are a part of the MICQ Oman group which currently has 63 members including 21 children of 6- 17 years.
By being a part of this initiative Nikshith has inspired other children to engage in real life creative activities rather than spending all their leisure time in the virtual world. The members of the ISG family congratulated Nikshith on this proud achievement.
