The head of a progressive teachers' union criticized the prosecution Wednesday for its move to arrest him on charges of engaging in illegal political activities.
Last week, the prosecution sought an arrest warrant for Kim Jeong-hoon, chief of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union (KTU), for violating the nation's public servants law that requires government employees to remain politically neutral.
