The operations room of women ombudsman's office did not receive sexual harassment complaints during the first day of Eidul-Fitr (Lesser Bairam), said the National Council for Women (NCW).

In a statement on Saturday, the NCW said that lawyers of the ombudsman's office accompanied officers of anti-violence officers at Cairo Security Directorate during noon and evening in the various areas in Cairo as part of efforts to spot sexual harassment cases in the Egyptian street in the first day of Eid.

No cases of sexual harassment were reported during the field tour, it added
