In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to cater for the health needs of people in Hoora and Gudaibiya, Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh inaugurated today the new expansion project at Hoora Health Centre, in the presence of MP Adel Al-Asoumi, senior officials from the Health Ministry and the Capital Governorate Trustees Board and a number of citizens.
The Health Minister toured the centre’s new expansion and got informed about its facilities and equipment that aim to boost the centre’s capacity. She affirmed that the expansion of Hoora Health Centre reflects the government’s keenness to meet people’s health needs and optimise the services provided for them. She praised the efforts of MP Al Asoumi in highlighting citizens’ health needs, pointing out the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative branches in improving them. She also underlined the role of members of the Representatives Council in conveying remarks and proposals and optimising health services.
On his part, MP Al Asoumi extended thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness the Premier for his valuable directives to the Health Ministry officials to earmark the needed budgets for the expansion project. He also thanked the Health Minister for her efforts in following up on the implementation of the project to boost services and meet citizens’ aspirations.
