Bahrain Engineers Society will organise tomorrow at Isa Cultural Centre, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Bahraini Women and Engineering Conference. The event will be held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and SCW President.
The conference is one of the main functions held to mark Bahrain Women’s Day which is allocated this year to celebrate women in the engineering field. It aims to spotlight the situation of Bahraini female engineers and their participation in the public and private sectors institutions. The event will also shed light on ways of tackling challenges facing women working in the engineering field and further boosting their presence in this area.
