Candidate of The Workers Party (PT) for the presidential election of 17 April Louisa Hanoune committed on Saturday in Setif to "annulling" the family code and replacing it by "civil laws" that establishes equality between men and women."If I am elected, I pledge to annul the family code and to replace it by civil laws that effectively establish equality between men and women," Louisa Hanoune said during her first electoral meeting of the 7th day of the presidential campaign held at Setif's games hall.Hanoune, who also promised to give further rights to Algerian women, dubbed "a stop gap solution" the public authorities' employment policy as it does not provide "sustainable" jobs. She warned against "insecure jobs" which she dubs "a time bomb."PT's candidate said, moreover, that she opposes "import and anarchic implementation" of LMD (Licence –bachelor-, Master, Doctorate) system, calling for opening a national debate on key sectors.Regarding the economic field, Hanoune called Algerian to insist on stopping the negotiations process on Algeria's underway accession to the World Trade Organization WTO), stating that this accession will engender "the return of "privatization" and Algerian families' "jeopardizing."
