Indian capital city of New Delhi continues to be unsafe for women as the city has registered 73 percent increase in the crimes against women in 2013, the official data submitted before the Indian Supreme Court revealed on Wednesday. The government data revealed till Oct 15, 2013, staggering 1,330 cases of rape have been registered this year. The government submitted the data following the instruction of the apex court. The crime against women include eve teasing, rape, molestation, eve teasing, dowry death stands at 10,493 in 2013 so far. The figures of same offences within the similar period in 2012 stood at 6,064. The data of 2013 shows that maximum number of cases was registered for kidnapping or abduction of women and it was followed by cases of molestation. The crime against women is widely reported in India.
