Oman Air celebrates Omani Women’s Day.

Oman Air celebrated “Omani Women’s Day” as the company recognized its best performing females who were invited to a small ceremony.
Paul Gregorowitsch CEO handed over special gifts to the selected colleagues and joined the management in the cutting cake ceremony.
Oman has long been regarded as one of the Gulf region’s leading supporters of equality and Oman Air has worked hard to replicated this, as the airline empowers women to involve in a variety of roles including cabin crew, flight operations, engineering, airport management, airport services, marketing, customer services, sales and communications.
Gregorowitsch said: “Great progress has already been made over the years to empower Omani women and they are now represented at every level, both in Oman and the rest of the world.
The CEO said: “Here at Oman Air we are reliant on our female work force in an extensive range of roles and there is no doubt that they have been instrumental in ensuring our continuous growth and success. On Omani Women’s Day I would like to take the opportunity not just to congratulate and thank our best performing females, but to thank all the women employed by Oman Air for their hard work and ongoing contribution to the business.”
Oman Air’s commitment to employing and supporting women in the workplace is part of a broader human resources strategy of recognizing the skills, abilities, commitment and contributions of all staff, regardless of their backgrounds.
The company has worked hard to increase the employment of Omani nationals and now over two thirds of the workforce originates from Oman.
