South Korean President Park Geun-hye planned to hold talks with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Tuesday before the two countries sign a free trade agreement expected to significantly boost their trade and investment, especially Korea's auto exports to Australia. Abbott was to arrive in Seoul from Japan, where he announced the conclusion of free trade talks with Tokyo on Monday. One of the main purposes of his two-day visit to South Korea is to sign the free trade pact with Seoul that was concluded after five years of negotiations.
