Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness, Wife of HM the King, the Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, a ceremony was held this morning to grant the Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal to the young Bahraini Pioneer Businesswoman at the council’s headquarters. HRH the Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women delivered the Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal to the winners in the first term, and they were : Suhair Al Rayes, the Executive Director and owner of Larisa Shops, Dr. Lamiyaa Mahmoud Al-Rayes, the CEO of Dr. Lamiyaa Mahmoud Specialist Laser Dental Care Center, Lawyer Mai Shwaiter the administrative partner of Trust Partners Company for Advocates and Legal Consultants. Among the winners, there were also Shaikha Noorah Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Midpoint Company, as well as Halal Engineer, the Director General of Environment Arabia for Advisory Services. At the beginning of the ceremony, HH Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the member of the Supreme Council for Women, Head of Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal Committee delivered a speech, where she thanked HRH Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa for her unlimited support and care for the Bahraini Woman, particularly the young pioneer businesswoman. HH Shaikha Hessa considered Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal for Young Bahraini Pioneer Businesswoman as one of the important outcomes contained in the national plan for the strategy of elevating Bahraini Women, which seeks to attain the result of implementing the programmes and projects targeting Bahraini women with all their age categories, and sectors. HH Shaikha Hessa stressed the keenness of Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal Committee since the first day it enhanced accurate conditions and standards for the mechanism of granting such Honor, and achieving competitiveness in a way to support attaining Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal , and maintaining such creative work. During the ceremony, a movie was presented under the title “Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal ….Stories of Success,” which relates success stories for pioneer businesswomen who won the Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal in its first term. The Bahraini Entrepreneur Honor Seal aims at awarding the young distinctive female in the area of pioneer businesswomen, and encouraging them to show their potentials and distinctive competencies in the area of pioneer businesswomen. It also aims at spreading the culture of entrepreneurial spirit among young women, and increasing the number of qualified young women by adopting and supporting new efficiencies.
