A woman was killed and six civilians were wounded Thursday when a booby-trapped vehicle went off in northern the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

The car detonated near a central market causing damage to three vehicles which were parked near the site of the explosion, according to security sources.

Security forces and ambulances rushed to the scene of the accident to transfer the wounded to the hospital, the sources noted.
