The Head of the Office of Tourism Promotion Authority in Luxor Mourad Gamil said Monday that the present and former beauty queens of Belgium, accompanied by a press delegation grouping 21 journalists, visited Karnak Temple.

They came upon an invitation from the Tourism Promotion Authority.

They will film tourist commercials in the temples as well as the West and East Banks, Gamil noted. 

The visit aims at boosting tourism in the Upper Egypt governorate.
