An Ohio woman convicted of killing her month-old baby daughter in a microwave oven was spared the death penalty and sentenced on Friday to life in prison without parole. Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Mary Wiseman sentenced China Arnold, 31, of Dayton, who psychologists testified showed no signs of serious mental illness.
