Dirriyah Gov. Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal

A total of 148 Saudi youths graduated in technological and electronic specialties from the Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) here on Monday.
Dirriyah Gov. Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud patronized the ceremony, during which the sixth and seventh batch of graduates were honored. He honored the graduates with prizes and certificates.
With the passing out of the latest batches of students, the total number of SEHAI graduates has now reached 473 since 2009.
The morning event was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, chairman of SEHAI board trustees; Rashid Al-Zahrani, deputy governor of TVTC; and Setsuo Ohmori, the delegate minister and deputy chairman of the delegation of the Japanese Embassy in Riyadh.
Kyoji Nakano, project manager and leader of SEHAI, officials of the Cooperation Japanese Center in the Middle East and owners of Electronic Companies and Home Appliances were also present.
Welcoming the guests, SEHAI Executive Director Ismail Mohammed Mufarreh said, “The Institute, the participating government organizations as well as the private sectors in the Kingdom and Japan along with the employees and students of the institute are honored to have this graduation ceremony under the patronage of the governor.” He said the graduates are trained in different technological and electronics specialties for the private sector and to support the Saudization program envisaged by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
He also thanked the Neopon University of Engineering and the affiliated companies for their partnership in the project.
Setsuo Ohmori said, “I am glad to celebrate together the graduation of these young people who will take part in the rapidly growing manufacturing sector in the Kingdom.” Describing the institute as a distinguished symbol of cooperation between the two countries, he said, it plays a pioneering role in developing human resources in the Kingdom.
In his speech, one of the graduates, expressed his happiness at having been qualified to enter the practical life. He said it is a big responsibility for the students to serve their families and society. On behalf of the other students, he thanked those who contributed to their studies at SEHAI.
