Iran has launched a computer game adapted from the legendary ancient Persian story about the national hero Mir Mohana who liberated Iranian cities from colonization. Nader Ebrahimi's series of books entitled On the Red Marine Roads was the major source of adaptation for the game, Mehr News Agency reported. The game was inspired by the original story of Mir Mohana, who defeated Dutch forces and liberated Iranian cities from the colonizers at the end of the reign of Nader Shah Afshar. Distributed by Loh-e Zarrin-e Nikan Company, the game was launched in collaboration with the Iran National Foundation of Computer Games. Project manager Morteza Rezaii, artistic director Behnam Shojaei, character designers Hossein and Ebrahim Diba, and Behnam Shojaei as well as musician Payam Azadi have collaborated in producing the game. Garshasb and Nader Sword are two other domestically-developed video games that have been produced so far.
