Honor, the leading smartphone e-brand under the Huawei Group, has officially launched its flagship smartphone, honor 9 in the Kingdom.
Honor said its Internet-optimized products “offer superior user experiences, inspire action, foster creativity and empower millennials.”
“The honor 9 has been designed with millennials’ fast-paced lives in mind, boasting an upgraded 20-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual-lens camera, outstanding audio quality and a Kirin 960 chipset, 6 GB RAM, and EMUI 5.1 robust processing core that guarantees powerful performance. The smartphone comes in 128 GB and 6GB storage with an expandable storage option of up to 256 GB — giving millennials the freedom to explore more, accommodate their busy lifestyle and enhance their technology experience with honor,” the company said in a statement.
Chris Sun Baigong, vice president of honor in the MEA region, said: “Following its tremendous success in China, whereby over one million units were shipped within 28 days, we noticed significant demand for pioneering technology and trend-setting phone design specifically in Saudi, as such we are delighted to meet this demand by bringing the honor 9 to Saudi. The honor 9 merges the best of design trends, craftsmanship, and technological innovation that has been created to meet the lifestyle demands of millennials.”
The honor 9 features an ultra-modern 3D glass back made up of 15 meticulously crafted layers and a sandblasted metal bezel that creates a subtle aurora effect. It is available in two shades: Glacier Grey, a unique color newly formulated by Honor inspired by popular fashion trends, and Sapphire Blue, inspired by blue ice found in polar regions. The company said both shades reflect 2017’s hottest fashion trends.
The honor 9 encapsulates “next-generation technology that delivers an enhanced user experience for those who dare to be brave.” It is available at all major retailers and online at a starting price of SR1,899 ($506).
