Bank of England policymakers have decided to maintain the key lending rate at a record low of 0.50 percent and freeze its cash stimulus amount, it said on Thursday. \"The Bank of England\'s Monetary Policy Committee at its meeting ... voted to maintain the official Bank Rate paid on commercial bank reserves at 0.5 percent,\" a statement said, adding that the quantitative easing stimulus would be held at £375 billion ($586 billion, 444 billion euros).
