The exchange rate of the US dollar receded on Tuesday in the five major banks.

The US dollar inched down by 5 to 10 piasters to stand at EGP 18.25 for buying and EGP 18.30 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque du Caire.

It recorded EGP 18.28 for buying and EGP 18.33 for selling at Banque Misr. 

In the Arab African International Bank (AAIB), dollar exchange rate reached EGP 18.32 for buying and EGP 18.47 for selling.

In the Commercial International Bank (CIB), it dropped to EGP 18.25 for buying and EGP 18.40 for selling.
