Global Money Exchange, one of the leading money exchange houses in the Sultanate, has opened its fortieth branch at Awqad in Salalah. The new branch, which is the sixth in Dhofar governorate, is situated near Bank Muscat in Awqad.
The branch was dedicated to public by T V S Ramana Rao, Chief General Manager and Regional Head, State Bank of India, in a grand function held recently, said a press release.
R Madhusoodanan, General Manager, S Mathai Andrews, Regional Manager and Fostin Nunez were present during the opening event.
Rao complimented Global Money Exchange in their efforts in opening more branches in the country to facilitate better remittance facilities to the local and expat population besides providing employment opportunities.
He assured that the latest technological support will extended from State Bank of India, which is managing the Global Money Exchange Company, in rendering fast and efficient remittance facilities.
Global Exchange offers immediate credit to all bank accounts, including on public holidays and has got arrangements with various banks and instant cash products across the world.
In addition to the regional office opened in March 2017, this is the third branch opened in the governorate during the current year.
As part of the company’s expansion plans, a branch is proposed to be opened in Musandam Governorate shortly, said K S Subromoniyan, Managing Director Global Money Exchange Co.
