Labor Minister Salim Jreissati hailed Monday the cooperation shown by the World Bank and his ministry on the “first job” program, an initiative aimed at providing greater employment opportunities to recent university graduates. During a meeting with World Bank officials, the minister discussed efforts to pass a retirement and social protection law. Jreissati also met with a Transportation Union delegation headed by Bassam Tleis to discuss their demands to increase National Social Security Benefits. From DailyStar
