The National Bank of Fujairah, NBF, plans to showcase its expertise in the trade in rough diamonds at the Dubai Diamond Conference, it has been announced. The bank will be sponsoring the conference for the second year.

NBF is sponsoring the conference, which is expected to see participation from a number of leading figures in the global diamond industry, including mining ministers, traders and financiers.

Dubai Diamond Conference 2017 will provide an opportunity for fostering relationships and building between the private and public sectors in rough diamond producing and purchasing countries. The conference also seeks to promote strong connections with diamond producers in Africa and aims at bringing them to markets in Asia, Europe, and North America.
NBF’s Diamond Financing unit plays an important role by catering to the sector’s unique financial requirements and technical expertise, focusing on financing manufacturers and traders of rough and polished diamonds.
Commenting on the occasion, Vince Cook, CEO of NBF, said, "Given the key strength that Dubai has as an established centre for the rough diamond trade, it is crucial that NBF remains an integral part of this journey. We are determined to develop robust relationships with diamantaires and to ensure that we are the ideal partner to meet sophisticated import and export financing needs, all the while supporting Dubai’s efforts in continuing to rise as a global diamond hub."
