The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has a donated a sum of EGP35 million to construct a model village in the New Valley governorate. 

In a ceremony on Tuesday, Governor of the New Valley Mohamed Al Zamlout and head of the National Bank of Egypt Hisham Okasha signed a memorandum of understanding to fund the construction of the village. 

The village will be a part of a project launched by the governorate in cooperation with ministries of Housing, Industry, Agriculture, Water Resources and Irrigation, as well as Misr El Kheir Foundation and Egyptian banks
