Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab received Monday with Executive Vice President and CEO of International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution Jin-Yong Cai.
During the meeting, attended also by the ministers of planning, petroleum, electricity, finance and international cooperation, Mahlab affirmed that Egypt started a new development phase.
He further said that several mega national projects are being implemented in the country.
Mahlab, meanwhile, pointed out to preparations of Egypt's economic conference, which will be held in March.
There are several aspects of cooperation between Egypt and the IFC, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish quoted Mahlab as saying in the meeting.
Head of the IFC, for his part, said that Egypt's stability is the only guarantee for the stability of the regional and international society.
He further said that the IFC realizes that the political leadership in Egypt has a vision to attain development.
