Qatar Central Bank\'s (QCB) deputy governor Sheikh Fahad bin Faisal Al-Thani called Tuesday for domestic and regional collaboration to make sure charity money reach those who deserve it. Preventing use of charity money in \"criminal actions\" is not only in violation of international laws but Islamic teachings, Sheikh Fahad, also Chairman of the national money laundering and terrorism financing committee, said in the opening of a regional worshop over preventing use of non-profit organizations for purpose of financing of terrorism. He said Qatar was keen on establishing effective supervisory regulations aimed at fighting money laundering and terrorism financing. Sheikh Fahad said his committee was coordinating with all state authorities to make sure charity money reach those in need.
