Unidentified gunmen on Friday kidnapped nine foreign workers from Libya's Ghani oil field in Zella city.
The gunmen attacked the field earlier in the day and killed seven persons, a Libyan security source said.
An Austrian and a Czech were among the kidnapped, the source added.
