The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 4 cents to reach USD 39.14 per barrel, after being at USD 39.10 pb on Wednesday, according to a statement by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
Oil prices went down 3% Wednesday in the global market, with the American crude oil hitting the lowest level in three months. Official data showed a sudden rush in crude and gasoline stocks during the peak of the summer holidays.
The Energy Information Administration said Wednesday that American crude oil stocks went up around 1.7 million barrels last week, in spite of predictions that they will go down significantly.
