The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 29 cents on Wednesday to settle at USD 104.52 per barrel (pb) compared to USD 104.23 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Thursday.
Meanwhile on the international markets, the Brent crudes' forward deals rose to USD 110 pb, on Wednesday, due to jitters resulting from prospected obstacles in supplies after Islamic militants seized regions in Iraq, including areas with oil installations.
Iraq's daily exports of the crude oil per day are estimated at three million barrels.
The Brent contracts in the London bourse rose 42 cents, reaching USD 109.95 pb, while those of the light American crude in the New York bourse followed suit, rising five cents and settling at USD 104.81 pb
