The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 3 cents to USD 41 per barrel Wednesday after being at USD 40.97 per barrel the day before, said a statement by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
In the world market, the price of crude oil went up by one percent due to reports regarding the decrease in oil reserves in the US, a factor which eliminated fears of an oil surplus at the market.
The price of the West Texas for August delivery went up by 29 cents to USD 44.94 per barrel , the same case with Brent mix which jumped by 51 cents to USD 47.17 per barrel.
