The price of oil rose Wednesday asslower Chinese growth tempered gains, AP reported.Benchmark U.S. crude for May delivery was up 16 cents at $103.91 a barrel at 0835GMT in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It closed Tuesdayat $103.75, down 30 cents.Brent crude, used to set prices for international varieties of crude, was up 3 cents at$109.39 a barrel.A slump in China's growth could reduce demand for crude.Data released Wednesday showed China's economy grew 7.4 percent in the firstquarter.
