Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Sherif Ismail presided over the meeting of the general assemblies of the public sector oil companies to approve the outcome of the activities of the fiscal year 2014/2015.

The list included Amiriyah Petroleum Refining, Alexandria Petroleum and Egyptian Petrochemicals Companies.

The meeting was attended by Local Development Minister Adel Labib and number of officials.

During the get-together, Head of Amiriyah Petroleum Refining Company Ashraf Tawfiq said that the company refined about 3.8 million tons of crude oil to provide petrochemical products with rates that exceed the targeted plan.
