The Supreme Constitutional Court ruled that private oil companies should be treated equally in petroleum activities.
The court abolished an official decision that restricts offering discounts for the use of lands at Red Sea ports to public sector companies.
Oil giant Total Egypt had filed a lawsuit with the court demanding its right to an equal treatment and getting the described discount in return for using the lands.
