Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Culture, the emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has kick-started its Dubai Fitness Challenge activities at the Etihad Museum, in support of the initiative launched earlier this month by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
Dubai Culture selected the Etihad Museum as the starting point for its activities because the museum is one of the most important historical and national landmarks in UAE.
Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director-General of Dubai Culture, said, "Dubai Culture is taking a step forward in developing our growing cultural landscape, guided by our leadership’s vision of promoting a healthy, happy lifestyle among all UAE residents. This is an important step that demonstrates our commitment to supporting the Dubai Plan 2021 for a city of happy, creative and empowered people."
Dubai Culture has published several awareness messages through its internal channels to motivate employees across the authority’s various departments to actively participate in the Dubai Fitness Challenge. It has announced a full programme of activities that will help employees to get involved and choose sports that complement their interests, hobbies and physical abilities.
