Sixty painting and works of many artists from Constantine are exhibited in the Cirta National Museum, offering a deep sensitivity of the depths of the fertile imagination of painters depicting their passion for the plural city. A wide range of shapes, colors and shades seems to free the "emanations" of a city whose beauty and picturesque character can only be a source of inspiration for artists, says Fouad, a young student met by APS in the exhibition hall. The pictures proposed to visitors through the paintings exhibited, somewhat "elusive" and sometimes ambiguous are distinguished by visible contours: the old medina and souika still in turmoil, are still standing and attract like a magnet , the curiosity of beauty lovers. "The medina has a soul and has a beating heart, that only the sensitivity of the mind and noble and nostalgic feeling can understand," assessed an artist to a visitor in front of a painting signed Bachir Boucheriha who devotes his pictorial works to the city of Constantine, its monuments, its sights and its peculiarities.
