Kuwait National Library hosted Monday evening a seminar about "Culture Without Limits" project, part of the "Future Generations 25" festival organized by the National Council for Culture, Art and Letters (NCCAL). Project manager Rashed Al-Kous, of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said the project aimed at encouraging culture of reading in the Emirate of Sharjah.Launched in 2008, the project aimed at boosting the important value of the book for all ages to ultimately have a library in every house, he said.Al-Kous said around 13,000 libraries each with 50 publications were distributed on families in urban and rural areas in Sharjah.He said project also organized a competition for the best library, which aimed at encouraging families develop their reading skills and knowledge. Al-Kous said the Culture Without Limits project is part of Sharjah's file at the UNESCO.
