Minister of State for Antiquities Mohamed Ibrahim inspected Wednesday the project site of the Grand Egyptian Museum to follow up the ongoing work there.The minister inspected the designated place for displaying Ramses II statue, which will be moved within three months.In a statement, the minister said he had discussed mechanisms to move the statue with the head of the Arab Contractors Company, which includes the statue's examination and building an iron structure around it, so as to ensure protection of its structure during its transportation.
