Los Angeles - MENA
Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass asserted President Abdel Fatah El Sisi's keenness on developing the Giza Pyramids area to match the greatness of Egypt's status and the swift opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum which will showcase all of King Tutankhamun's antiquities.
During a reception hosted by Ambassador Lamia Mekhemar, Consul General of Egypt in Los Angeles, Hawass noted that the Ministry of Antiquities will announce the results of radar scanning and cosmic radiation of the Pyramids in September.
"The scanning of the Valley of the Kings will start in October in search for the undiscovered tombs," said Hawass adding that he is carrying an invitation from the Egyptian people to the American people to visit Egypt. Tourism revenues will be allocated for the restoration of Egyptian antiquities which belong to the whole humanity, he stressed.
