Culture Minister Gaby Layyoun called on concerned security sides to pursue and arrest those who attack Tripoli's ruins and heritage. "Tripoli's ruins should not be attacked and its affairs should be followed up", the minister said after meeting with a delegation from "Civil campaign to rescue Tripoli's heritage and remains". The minister said that violators should be summoned to justice. Layyoun stressed necessity of cooperation between the ministry, municipality and NGOs.
