Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met on Sunday with Japan's State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sonoura Kentaro, WAM News Agency reported.
During the meeting, held at al Mushrif Palace, they discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in multiple fields, especially in the investment, economic, trade and educational domains.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of the Japanese minister and highlighted the strong UAE-Japanese ties and his keenness on boosting them.
He also hailed the level of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Sonoura Kentaro emphasized the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Japan. He lauded the pioneering stature of the UAE in the regional and global arenas.
