Abu Dhabi Crown Prince receives special envoy of Sudanese President

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received this evening at the Al Shati Palace Lt. General Taha Othman Ahmed Al Hussain, Special Envoy of the Sudanese President, Minister of State and Director of the President’s Office.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Sudanese official and the duo discussed the fraternal ties between the UAE and Sudan, and ways to enhance them. The meeting also focussed on issues of mutual interest.

Al Hussain conveyed the greetings of the Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir to the UAE’s leadership, and his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the people of the UAE.

The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince also conveyed his greetings to President Al Bashir.

Others present at the meeting were Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
