Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed met on Friday with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)'s Assistant Director-General for North Africa and the Near East Abdessalam Ould Ahmed.
During the meeting, they discussed the expected visit to Egypt by a FAO technical delegation that will review ways to support a project for reclaiming 1.5 million feddans.
In press statements, Fayed said the FAO delegation includes experts in a number of fields, including the departments of water, land, fish farming and natural resources.
The delegation will be led by FAO representative in Egypt Pasquale Steduto.
