Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Essam Fayed met with Greek Ambassador in Cairo Michael Christos to discuss ways of boosting bilateral cooperation.
The meeting is an outcome of the tripartite presidential summit bringing together the presidents of Egypt, Cyprus and Greece last week and aims at probing obstacles to the implementation of the tripartite partnership in the agricultural sector, Fayed said.
Fayed added an agreement was reached to promote coordination between the officials concerned at the agriculture ministry in Egypt and their Greek counterparts to adopt a timetable for carrying out the Egyptian-Greek partnership.
