Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received today Harjit Sajjan, Canada's Minister of National Defence, who is currently visiting the UAE.

During the meeting, Al Bowardi welcomed the Canadian Minister and his accompanying delegation. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and means to strengthen them to serve the interests of both nations and their peoples.

Al Bowardi and Sajjan also reviewed coordination and cooperation between the UAE and Canada in the military and defence sector. They also examined the latest regional developments, followed by the signing of defence cooperation agreements between the two countries.

Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, Ambassador of the UAE to Canada, along with senior officers and official at the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces, also attended the meeting
