Arab League Secretary General and Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Sallam

Arab League Secretary General and Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Sallam met Monday night on the sidelines of the 71st UNGA session in New York and reviewed the latest Arab developments. 

AL spokesman Mahmoud Afifi said in a press release they discussed the crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen, developments in Lebanon and efforts to reform the Arab League.

Lebanon, Sallam said, fully support the AL chief's efforts to activate the league's role in dealing with Arab crises.

Sallam invited Abul Gheit to visit Lebanon.
